Just in Time for a Summer Spa Date, Kananaskis Nordic Spa is Re-opening!

After the long winter and brutal spring we’ve all had to endure, everyone needs a spa day or a spa date with that special someone. Kananaskis Nordic Spa has announced that the hydrotherapy pools are open as of July 24 and ready to help you melt away the tension of the last 4-5 months!

Kananaskis Nordic Spa Date Packages

To help ease the transition back to a state of relaxation, KNS has partnered with the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge and the Crosswaters Resort for stay-and-spa packages. The Mountain Lodge package includes passes for two to KNS for each night booked at the Lodge, while the Crosswaters Resort package includes the same, with the added bonus of a picnic from Market Cafe!

The Perfect Way to Rejuvenate

As we all sat in our homes, locked away from life, yet stressing about being able to pay our bills, or to find reliable sitters for our suddenly-not-in-school children, the toxins and tension kept naturally rising. Luckily the hydrotherapy at Kananaskis Nordic Spa is specially designed to treat the “demands of the modern world”. The hot, warm, cold, rest, repeat cycle trains your body to flush itself of harmful toxins while the natural, calm setting allows the mind to relax, The effect creates an ultimate escape from the seemingly unending cycle of bad news and unwanted intrusions into our daily lives.

Reconnect & Staycation

Now is the time for parents, or couples who were just unable to spend time together, to reconnect free from any worldly distractions. Treat your loved one to the ultimate date night– or date weekend!– centred around the rejuvenating bliss of the Kananaskis Nordic Spa. But hurry and book soon; KNS is required to be operating at reduced capacity, so available spots for the coming weeks will be snapped up quickly. Just imagine the pent up demand from Calgary and Alberta to just escape and relax!

Safety Protocols

While reopening is exciting, KNS recognizes that the virus is still a concern and has therefore installed protocols to mitigate the spread. They have limited opening to two hydrotherapy sessions per day, meaning 65 guests maximum may reserve spots. Spas and steam rooms remain closed until phase 3 of the government mandated reopening, while massages are available with many precautions in place for the safety and comfort of guests. A more detailed explanation of the KNS covid safety protocols can be found here.

For those lucky enough to secure a reservation, enjoy your spa date!
