Try Animal Tracking in the Wilderness

Learn to follow and analyze animal tracks and signs along the trail, it is amazing what you can learn from a simple set of tracks! At one hour long, this is the perfect activity to get your adventure started after arriving on a Friday afternoon.

Saturday
Olympic Runs at Nakiska
Wake up and eat breakfast early, this is your ski day on the Olympic runs at Nakiska! Having hosted the alpine ski events at the 1988 Winter Olympics, you know the hill will satisfy the most hardcore skiers. But Nakiska also offers a compelling mixture, with 13% of the runs classified as beginner and 59% as intermediate, for those who wish to take it a bit slower.

Apres Ski, Spa
Whether your ‘apres’ is on the mountain or in the village at Blacktail Bar, that is just a warmup for the rejuvenation at the Kananaskis Nordic Spa. The spa will be your elixir from the exertion on the ski hills, with its variety of warm and cool pools, steam rooms, saunas and massage treatments. Imagine, a full day of skiing, then feeling more relaxed later in the evening! The Nordic Spa delivers ultimate R&R&R (rest & relaxation & rejuvenation) in the most jaw dropping alpine setting. In one word: unforgettable!

Dinner at Forte Restaurant
After a day of exercise on the slopes and the rejuvenation and detoxifying effects of the Spa, there’s nothing worse than throwing away the gains on unhealthy food. Dinner at Forte Restaurant consists of healthy, Italian cuisine in a comfortable, casual setting.

Sunday
Brunch at Forte
Everybody knows brunch is just about the greatest thing ever invented and Forte’s selection of mouth-watering brunch favourites starts your day right.

Ice-Skating in the Village

Old Fashioned Sleigh Ride
The ride home need not be a letdown from a thrilling weekend. Boundary Ranch welcomes you to enjoy an old-fashioned horse drawn sleigh ride (Wagon Ride if not enough snow). Cuddle up under a cozy blanket (please bring your own due to COVID-19) and be amazed at the winter oasis and views of snow covered mountains along the beautiful trails surrounding Boundary Ranch. A stop at the Buffalo viewing paddock for photos and turn around at the teepee village before heading back to the Ranch for some hot chocolate and marshmallows around the crackling bonfire to warm up.
