This 100-mile relay begins in Longview and winds its way into the heart of Kananaskis Country.\nTeams of runners take on 10 legs across varied terrain—from rolling foothills to alpine passes—before finishing in Kananaskis Village.\n\n\n\nThe Route\nThe race begins at 6:00 a.m. in Longview, with runners heading west along Highway 541 toward the Rocky Mountains.\nThe course climbs over Highwood Pass—the highest paved highway in Canada—before descending into the Kananaskis Valley.
